Kathmandu short Luxury tour – Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1310 M)
When you plane hovers above Kathmandu valley we will enjoy mesmerizing view of Himalayas. Consider this as added value of Tribhuvan International Airport, while flying to and from, we can admire panoramic view of snowcapped mountains. Upon your arrival in Kathamandu Airport representative from Real Adventure Nepal Tours and Travel stands right at the arrival door holding a greeting sign with your name on it. Driver greets you and put your baggage. A luxurious Toyota Highlander car takes to you to one of the five star hotels in center of Kathmandu. When we reach to hotel doorman welcomes you warmly and you are offered varieties of drinks. After check into hotel have some rest and freshen you up. Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing around Kathmandu
When we are done with breakfast, a professional tour guides comes to receive you and head off to Kathmandu Durbar Square. When you reach to the complex of Kathmandu Durbar Suqare, you will be spellbound by grandiose structures of royal palaces, temples, courtyards and cabins. The then royal palace of Kanitpur kingdom, the Kathmandu Durbar Square comprises incredible arts work, and preserves the beautiful architectural aura of ancient Nepal. Excellent wooden craving, stone and metal work inscribed sculpture simply exhilarate you. This place is famous for the Kumari Ghar, the only home for Kumari (the virgin goddess), Kasthamandap Temple, a temple, made up of wood from a single tree, the giant statue of Kal Bhairav, the Hanuman Dhoka and Ganesh Temple. Inside the Durbar there is a museum which preserves the historical monuments, precious statues and portraits of historical figures of Nepal. In the vicinity Kathmandu Durbar Square, there are beautiful gallery shop, souvenir shops and eateries that serve traditional Nepali food and drinks. Walking around the royal place would be a great chance to explore the traditional market center of the Nepal and local products.

After having historical, religious and cultural experience of Kathmandu Durbar Square we move to Swayambhunath another heritage site situated on the top of hill at the north edge of Kathmandu Valley. Also known as the Monkey Temple, Swayambhunath is equally venerated by Hindus and Buddhist people, a perfect example of religious tolerance. Our tourist guide explains everything in detail and answers your queries. The dome style Stupa with Buddha's eyes on its four sides of tower stands atop of hill making a perfect vantage point of Kathmandu Valley. Sound of prying flags, chanting of mantra by Buddhist monks and sound of bell makes environment vibrant and, World Peace Pond, Museum and other small temples are main attractions of Swayambhunath.

After having Lunch, we visit the world famous Hindu Temple Pashupatinath. Situates at the bank of holy River Bagmati, Pashupatinath is regarded as the most sacred pilgrimage site of Hindu religion. Surrounded by more than 100 small temples of different deities, the main temple has golden shrine ad four silver doors, guarded by giant statue of Nandi (the vehicle of Lord Shiva). Though non-Hindus are not able to enter the main temple, we can cross Bagmati River and enjoy the entire complex of temples and observe the religious ceremonies practiced at the bank of Bagmati River.

After having spiritual moment in Pashupatinath we drive northeast to reach Boudhhanath Stupa. When we enter the gate we will be greeted by giant Stupa decorated by multicolor prying flags. Listed in UNESCO world heritage site Boudhhanath Stupa is largest Stupa of region and replicate of Tibetan Buddhism. The dome style Stupa is built in three-story octagonal forms with golden tower. The center of Tibeatn Buddhism in Nepal, this Stupa is hub of Tibetan people who showcase the mysterious cultural practices. We explore the more than 30 monasteries and nunneries around. From Boudhhanath we enjoy mesmerizing view of snowcapped peaks too.

After having memorable day in Kathmandu sightseeing tour, we come back to hotel and delicious dinner and have better rest.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur and Patan
After finishing your breakfast, you will head off for sightseeing tour in Bhaktapur Durbar Square which bestows unique Newari culture and displays finest works of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur has not been yet touched by western culture. Typical Newari culture can be still noticed there. You will get to walk around Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Art Gallery, 55 windowed Malla Palace, Nyatapola Temple and Dattatreya Temple are the highlights of Bhaktapur tour. Then, you will drive to Patan to visit Patan Durbar Square, Kumbheshwor temple, Mahaboudha Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and several other places of Patan. Patan popular as the ‘City of Arts’ actually seems like an open museum flaunting beautifully carved windows, statues of gods and goddesses, central roof struts, temples constructed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and metal works. You can also visit handicraft center in Patan. Overnight at hotel Hyatt Regency or Similar Hotel.

Day 03: Short tour to Bhaktapur or Patan Durbar Square and final departure
As much as possible we try to book evening flight so that we can have sightseeing tour and souvenir shopping. After breakfast we will check out from hotel and go to Patan Durbar Square where we explore famous stone-made Krishna Temple, Patan Museum, the famous three chowks (courtyards): Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk, and Keshav Narayan Chowk. The ancient city Patan is populated by indigenous Newar people, who perform various native cultural shows. After short trip in Patan, we drive east to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, where we explore Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Art Gallery, 55 windowed Malla Palace, Nyatapola Temple and Dattatreya Temple. After exploring historical Bhaktapur Durbar Square we drive to Tribhuvan International Airport.
