Though this trek will be short but it may also suit those people who have dream to see the top of the world Mount Everest. It doesn’t take long time frame, so it’s called “Everest Panorama Trek” too. Namche is located at 3440m. Though, Mt Everest is far away but from here you will able to see the breath-taking, stunning view of Mount Everest, Amadablam and many others white peaks too. In the trekking, everyone will get chance to visit the Namche Bazar of Khumbu Region. As it is also known as gateway to Himalayas for Everest Luxury Trek.
Everest View Trek – Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,350m
On your arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative from Swiss Nepal Trekking will welcome you with warm greeting. After completion of all custom formalities of yours like Visa etc. We will pick-up your luggage and look for our representative with Swiss Nepal Trekking board at arrival gate. Then you will be transfer to five star hotels. In hotel you will be welcomed by welcome drinks and on the same day we will give short t information about our trek.
Day 02: Full Day Kathmandu City Tour
The very next morning, we will start our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley which is historically and spiritually attractive. Very ancient landmark are considered as World Heritage site like scared PashupathinathTemple,historical Durbar Square, Monkey Temple(Swyambunath), and Buddhist Shrine (Bouddhanath). At the afternoon time, there will be our pre-trip meeting discussion where we can meet our perished leader trek and other team members. He will give information regarding your trek. If you will have any question regarding your trip then you may ask. Overnight night stay at Five star hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu –Lukla by flight and trek to Phakding (2652m/ 3-4 hours)
Time duration: About three or four hours
In the early morning, after having morning breakfast we will transfer to Domestic Airport for flight to Lukla(2800m). The 40 minute adventurous flight we will reach Tenzing Hillary Airport and it will also give chance to enjoy the topographical feature and beautiful White Mountain. Over there, we will enjoy the most beautiful air route in the world beautiful mountains in thrilling land on a hill side surrounded by high mountain peaks. After arrival at Lukla, a gateway destination of our trip and then we will meet our other crew members. After packing and arrangement of require materials for trip, we will move ahead towards through the prosperous village Lukla until we reach the Phakding. To aid in acclimatization, today we will have short hiking. If any client request for more activities then we can have a side trip around the Buddhist Monasteries. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain Home in Phakding.
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m)
Time duration: About five and six hours
From the Phakding, our track goes through the beautiful pine forest along the Dhudkhosiriver crossing the famous Hillary suspension bridge. In front of us, we can see the wonderful view of Mt.Thamserkhu 6618. Passing through several village like Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, we will come to entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. We will pass through Jorsalle village before reaching Namche Bazar and walk alongside of Dhudkhosi and BhoteKoshi River. About two hours trip, final steep brings us to near the first sight of Mt.Everest peering over the Lhotse Nupste ridge. On this moment we will stop at Chautara to Cherish the entire view of mountain. After one and half hours hiking we will reach Namche Bazar, gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading centre. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain in Namche Bazar.
Day 05: Namche Bazar “Acclimatization Day”
Today, we will spend a day here to acclimatize our body. Many health specialist has advice that to have some rest after long trip or walk. Today, we will follow climb up to the airstrip at Syangboche. We will see the Japanese scheme hotel called Everest View Hotel just above the airstrip with panoramic view of highest mountain in the world. Until reaching the Khumbu village we will keep on continuing our trek, it may take about two hours to reach over there. Khumjung is a valley surrounded by Snowy Mountain of kondge and Thamserku, and the sacred peaks Khumbila .In Khumjung village we can visit Hillary School, colorful monasteries covered with prayers flags and prayer wheels with influence of Buddhist religion. Namche Bazar is known as main gateway to Mt. Everest (Khumbu region) and there government office, ATMS, Internet Cafe, Shops, and colorful market are located. If you wish for hiking then we will manage hiking program to Thame or we can go for visiting Khunde. If you are not interested for these activities then you may relax some hours and can explore the available beauty scenery of Namche Bazar. Near the headquarters of Sagarmatha National Parks, there’s Tourist Visitor Center and we will be taken there by our guide. Sagarmatha National Park is the place where we can observe various type of plant and animals of the Everest Region, also we can visit Sherpa museum to understand their unique culture. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain Hotel.
Day 06: Trek from Namche to Monjo (2,840m)
Time duration: About four or five hours
This day, we will have enough time for shopping and relaxing in Namche. After some hours, we will trek from Namche and following a steep descent passing the Bhote and twice the Dhudkoshi River. After existing from Sagarmatha National Park official entrance finally we will reach MonjoVilage. We will find Monjo village quiet place in comparison of Namche. Next day, we will have less energy back to Lukla. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain Hotel.
Day 07: Trek to Monjo to Lukla(2800m)
Time duration: About four or five hours
Today, we will follow the previous route from where we start our trek (back to Lukla). On the way we will get chance to observe the fabulous looks of snow-capped peaks from the window of beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. Walking through the Sherpa village, we will get opportunities to observe the culture of prayers stone, prayers flag which significance of Buddhism. On arrival in Lukla, explore around the prosperous village and collects some happy moment in the Himalayas. Our trek leader will re-confirm the flight ticket after reaching Lukla. This day, we will have our last dinner with our crew in evening time. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain Home.
Day 08: fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Time duration: 45 minute
Early in the morning, we will fly to Kathmandu collecting the lifetime memories with us. The whole day, we will free for relaxing in the hotel but if anyone is interested for shopping then, he/she can visit near shop (Thamel Typical Nepalese goods). Overnight stay at Dwarikas Hotel.
Day 09: Buffer Day in case of flight cancellation due to bad weather
This day, you may make your own program for relaxing or shopping. On that day, we will also provide you some short guided tour within Kathmandu valley. Overnight stay at Dwarika’s Hotel.
Day 10: Final Departure to International Airport as per your flight schedule
This day will be our end day of long mountain journey. At about three hours prior to your flight time, our representative will transfer you to airport. Our whole Real Adventure family will wish you for great time ahead.
